- Included
Lesions are charged on the same schedule whether they are benign or suspicious. The fee depends on the size and site of the lesion and the type of closure required, not on what the lesion turns out to be.
Two things are included in the price of a surgical appointment and are never charged on top: fifteen minutes with your surgeon before the procedure, and a dressing clinic appointment a week afterwards to check the wound and change the dressing. Both apply to surgery only. They are not part of a Single Mole Check, a Full Body Skin Check or a standalone consultation.

Estimated total: £0 for no items selected.
An estimate only. Your final cost is confirmed after your appointment, once you have been assessed and your medical history reviewed.
Where a second lesion is removed at the same appointment, its removal is charged at half price. The estimate shows both at full price, so the figure you see is the most you would pay.
Insurance
Do you accept medical insurance?
We work with a number of insurers. Please speak to a member of our team before booking and we will confirm whether your policy can be used and what we need from you.
Where your treatment is covered, we invoice your insurer directly. You will not need to pay us and claim the money back.
Skin checks and screening appointments are self-funded. Screening is not usually covered by private medical insurance, as it is not treatment for a diagnosed condition.
Procedures carried out for cosmetic reasons are not covered by medical insurance.
Where treatment follows a diagnosis, your clinical report can be used to support a claim and any discussion with your insurer.
Payment
How your payment is handled
Payments are processed by Stripe, a payment provider certified to PCI DSS, the security standard for handling card payments. We do not store your card details.
Payments appear on your bank or card statement as “TSCI”.
Your personal and payment information is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and store it.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
What if more than one lesion is removed?
Where a second lesion is removed during the same appointment, its removal is charged at half price. Laboratory analysis is charged per lesion at the full rate, as each lesion is examined and reported on separately.
When do I pay?
Skin checks and screening appointments are paid for at the time of booking. Surgery is invoiced after your appointment. What is needed can change once you have been assessed and your medical history reviewed, so we confirm the final cost after treatment rather than before.
What if I decide not to go ahead on the day?
That is entirely your decision, and it is more common than you might think. What is charged depends on the circumstances, so please talk to your surgeon at the time — nothing is settled before you have had that conversation.
Is my consultation charged on top of the surgery price?
No. Where you book surgery, your consultation is part of the surgery price. The £200 fee is for a consultation booked on its own, as a separate appointment for advice. It is not deducted if you later decide to go ahead.
Is laboratory analysis included?
No. Lesions removed by excision are sent to a laboratory for analysis, and this is charged in addition to the cost of the procedure, at £175 per lesion.
Do you offer finance or payment plans?
Please contact us and a member of our team will talk you through the options.
